2027 will mark the 10th anniversary of Melon 🍈 Public art has always been my passion. Outside of institutions, without curatorial text. In public space, art can be touched, damaged, ignored. It is not protected by a collection, nor preserved by authority. So we can be a little rough with it. But the origine of public art, the sketches and research behind these public work can be literally fragile and so more hidden For the Biennale SoL #3, I'm presenting for the first time the process behind Melon in Musée Fabre. Special thanks for Caroline Chabrand and Matthieu Fantoni for this Public Art section curating. 2 weeks left to see SOL ! La biennale du territoire #3

Final weeks 🐶 Protect Me Dogs is currently on view at the Musée Fabre, exhibited alongside works by Jacques-Louis David and François-Xavier Fabre. @musee_fabre The sculptures evoke guardian figures such as gargoyles and komainu. Hybrid entities, they embody dualities while acting as collectors and protectors of memory. Each sculpture is attached on an aluminum structure, carrying hybrid elements that merge sensory organs with devices such as camera, selfie stick, ... This work shows the externalization of experience and the body’s gradual transformation into an extension of these systems. ❤️🙏 This work was produced with the support of Echanger22 and Pont du Gard, with additional support from MO.CO. @echangeur22 @pontdugard_officiel @montpelliercontemporain With thanks to curators for this exhibition : Caroline Chabrand, Pauline Faure, Julie Chateignon, Deniz Yoruc, and Matthieu Fantoni. @carolinechabrand @pauline.faure.944 @juliechateignon @denizyoruc Exhibition SOL ! After a long winter of silence, Asian Echo returns. First of all, I would like to offer my sincere apologies to all the guests of Season 2, as well as to co-host Diego Jungmyeong Lim, for this delay in publication. During the recording of season 2, I was going through a particularly dark period. I was confronted with situations where my position as an author was made invisible. I felt a deep disconnect in the face of certain perspectives, where the very act of creating seemed to be pushed into the background, almost treated as if it was supposed to be externalized. This period confronted me with persistent questions: What does it mean to create? What is artwork? What is an author? Why do some people take the position of author naturally, while others must struggle to be recognized? These questions, along with the instability of my position as an artist,  interrupted my work, particularly for this podcast Asian Echo. It felt risky to publish words that carried my anxiety. But also deep down, it was difficult for me to encourage others to defend their rights when I was having difficulty defending my own. By listening the episodes over the past two years, I was confronted with repeating experiences for Asian women : • the way we are perceived as docile and expected to serve others, • the feeling of not being “legitimate” in claiming one’s rights, even in unjust situations, • and the fact that silence produces the absence of a political discourse. These conversations have led me, today, to decide to break my silence. Three years ago, I chose to speak directly through Asian Echo. I stand by this decision and continue. So here is Season 2 in full, in its unedited form. Stay tuned, the upcoming episodes of Asian Echo will all be released on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. Asian Echo is a video podcast co-hosted with @diegofantasy featuring AR masks activated from the painting series “Once Upon Orientalism” by @monayoungeunkim Produced with the support of La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse, Atelier des Artistes en Exil, and La Gaîté Lyrique. #podcast #asianecho

Melon melon melon ! My first public art piece (officially and legally ^^) Remember feeling so weird that this will stay there forever, which means even if France kicks me out 😊 And yes it's true. Now after almost 10 years, of course I'm still doing art and my work will live somewhere to tell the story I couldn't finish at the time. For sure ! Like now --- > at the exhibition biennale SOL # 3 I’m showing my process of Melon until May 2026, in Musée Fabre Photo 1 — newspaper Photo 2 — inauguration / opening Photo 3, 7 — architecture website Photo 4, 5 — working process at PCA Photo 6 — with my teacher @miles_hall_studio and Christian Gaussen, former director of the École des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier, who accompanied me throughout the project Photo 8 — Exhibition Sol 3 in Musée Fabre @montpelliercontemporain @musee_fabre #leshalleslaissac #halleslaissac #montpellier #publicart
