TWENTY 7!!! Birthdays have always been an anxious time for me, growing up there wasn’t an importance placed on birthdays and I always felt relief but also sadness about it. So the older I got I always felt the need to do something, always had this self pressured expectation to celebrate. Quality time being my love language all I really wanted was to spend time with people I loved. What better time to force all my loved ones together than my birthday lol. & while I’ve achieved that most years, this year all I wanted was nothing more than to gift myself something I could hold within me forever.
This year I am welcoming my late 20s 74 days alcohol free, 57 days nicotine free & got to run my first 10k & finished!! (Though my knees hate me) 2 days into knowing her & I’m really excited to continue seeing her grow💙
