@mona.mioca منى is a Brussels based french-swiss-tunisian dancer, dj and apprentice producer. As imposed erasure is a central wound of her identity she’s approaching her dj practice as a playful and empowering way to find connections through the parts of her that systemic racism and transphobia wants to destroy. Since last week we host @mona.mioca , dancer and DJ who is the current artist in residence at #StationOne by Station and in @kcmagacin where she is developing her new work • THE OBVIOUS QUESTION • This residency is part of our collaboration with @legymnase_cdcn and @ifsrbija . Mona will present her research in Le Gymnase on the 12th of June.

🍀Vilnius was so warm and kind to me🍀 Never felt this welcomed somewhere and it warmed my heart so much! I’m also super thankful that this time was an occasion to learn more about the Baltic countries and better understand how the constant threat from Russia is showing itself and how Lithuania is showing solidarity to Ukraine. Forever grateful to the whole @newbalticdance team @gintaremasteikaite @povilasbastys and @em.nar for their kindness and hospitality. In collaboration with @legymnase_cdcn , a European exchange path for young choreographers. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗵 was in 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 for a week, to explore dramaturgical approaches and cross-disciplinary perspectives. She was also able to come across some of the activities held by 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮, such as the 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 Festival. 💜 #lavanderiaavapore #artisticresidency #artisticresearch
