Like some of you know, on 09.01.2026 I turned my ankle and leg into Swiss cheese 🧀
The rescue was long and tricky. Big thanks to @bergrettungsee 🤍
It’s still hard to talk about.
Maybe cuz I felt I shouldn’t go for that last run — and still did.
Maybe cuz my riding felt so good just before.
Maybe cuz this was already my 12th surgery.
Or maybe cuz I felt so close to really living my dream.
Maybe cuz I don’t know what the future will bring.
But I’m still here.
Still dreaming about flying.
powder in my face . Sunsets on the Mountain with friends. Laughing out of joy..
Sometimes the dream flips —
and I’m back hitting that shark…
that rock hidden under a very soft layer of snow.
This season ended very differently than I imagined.
But you know how flowers grow?
The seed has to be buried in the dark before it can reach the sun.
So for now:
Rehab mode .
Patience.
Learning to respect my body.
Learning to fully trust my intuition again.
So, so grateful to have the best coach & friend @orleyflo — and everyone who had my back that night and over the last weeks.
Still here.
Still dreaming.
