A week of profound returning to the great circle of love ⭕️ the mandala of existence where every creature, element and ecosystem is in sacred relation. In the heart of the South African bush, we rose with the sun 🌅 learned from wild teachers 🐾 and remembered the intelligence woven through all things. 🌈 Every encounter with tree, rock and rino 🦏 cracked the heart open a little wider with awe. We gathered from across the planet 🌍 on this ancient land that is the cradle of humanity and humility… and we offered up our devotion through meditation, movement, music and creative play! During a time of such collective turmoil and heartache, this retreat became a pledge to soul, to beauty, presence and belonging. A life-revivifying reminder that we are not separate from the earth, or from one another… but intricately woven into the great tapestry of the whole. 🌐 Deep gratitude to @annietarasova and @soundsofholloway for holding space alongside me, @molorisafari and my South African family for making this dream a reality, as well as each of these brave and curious souls that ventured with us into the heart of the wild to open to the wonder of existence together! Meet the Black-backed jackal... Often seen as the trickster of the bush, this sharp and adaptable predator is known for its intelligence and resourcefulness. While it may not be part of the Big 5, it plays an important role in the ecosystem - hunting, scavenging, and surviving where larger predators sometimes cannot.
