so now when I'm back in korea, these are my non-negotiables for a trip that feels complete~* even though some of you might argue with me about the americano one🤫

for a girl like me with thin, sensitive, scar and acne prone skin, there is nothing quite like it.
honestly it's always sold out so I was lucky to pick this up with only 48 hours left before my flight lol

filming a little grwm on my flight when BOOM I was stuck in türkiye for the next 12 hours.
I met delfina and güneş in the street in seoul.
we bonded over a love for boran kuzum and korean style.
what felt a bit like fate, the next day I found then searching unsuccessfully for a table at my favourite bar.
I invited them over to mine and we had a girly cocktail night before they flew back to istanbul.
when I sent them a DM on the flight, just two weeks after we said goodbye, they came to the rescue and told me they'd take care of everything.
even though my airport hotel check out was in hours, i had to at least have a drink in the city i've been dying to visit!!
mezze at demeti meyhanesi was the perfect introduction to turkish food - everything was delicious!! spicy yogurt, grape leaf wraps, savoury pistacchio dip!
a situation that could've been really daunting and inconvenient turned into an exciting escapade which made my world feel so much bigger.
mark my words, istanbul, i will be back.

what more convincing do you need to visit 서울풍물시장 (Seoul folk flea market)????
located in a fairly rando neighbourhood, it’s unlikely that you’d just stumble upon this place. It’s a labyrinth of junk/treasure — perfect if you enjoy going for a dig for a perfect vase or pair of chopsticks.
We recommend heading there on Sunday morning to visit the market taking place just outside also!

A MUST try snack if u come to seoul — i think the reason why some people don’t LOVE it is bc they end up at a spot with soggy rice cakes, watery marinade etc

a trip to an island where the weather changes on a dime, the green tea is soft and clean and trees sway when you lift your head and stretch your arms up to meet them
seogwidaewon tea plantation (aka 서귀다원) is a MUCH lesser-known green tea plantation on the southern side of jeju.
this place feels a little bit like a secret: It’s not as commercial or built-up as places like Osulloc Tea Museum, it’s privately owned and still actively produces green tea.
so what you’re walking through isn’t just for show.. it’s a working plantation!!
It sits at around 250m elevation ON hallasan in soft, curved rows that follow the natural slope of the land, which is why it looks so cinematic on camera.
there's no big café, no "photo zone" it's perfectly untouched. the tea is delicious and the workers are very happy to explain all aspect of the tea farming to you!
this was my highlight of my weekend here.. i even bought some hwangcha to enjoy back in seoul.

i was invited to a flea market at a britpop themed cafe @cdp.jimmyjimmy and headed up to the second floor...
and in all my years of seoul vintage hunting, i haven't seen many collections that match up to this
