‘The Stars are Ours’ hat was inspired by @thestarsareours.uk . A campaign defending our right to wild camp on Dartmoor.
If you haven’t heard, Dartmoor has recently had its right to responsibly wild camp on the land (the last place left in England that this was legal) taken away after the millionaire landowner, Alexander Darwall decided that he wasn’t happy with people enjoying this beautiful landscape, and he wanted the 4000 acres all to himself… seems fair right ? 🤦🏼♀️
I made this hat from some old jeans. It has lots of embroidered stars on it as well as a secret star pocket. Complete with the words ‘The Stars Are Ours’ written around the rim.. as we should all have the right to camp under the stars.
40% of the profits from this hat will go to the @right.2roam organisation who are campaigning for our right to roam across the English country side.

Yesterday morning, under the new moon I spent a peaceful hour setting some intentions surrounded by the eyes of the King’s Men stone circle.
This awesome circle has 70-odd megaliths that were erected around 2,500BC! A truly magical place 🪶🗿

2022 you were unreal.
In February 2022 I took a 5 month break from sewing and drove to europe with my boyfriend. It was an incredible adventures and I’m so in awe of this planet that we are lucky enough to call home.

I set myself a challenge to make something for a black tie wedding…
In June this year I found a burgundy velour curtain at a free shop in Chamonix and knew it was time to upcycle it into something special.
I bought a pattern for a mermaid skirt for £8 and paired it with one of my corset patterns to make a two piece.
The materials for this outfit cost me roughly £15, plus the two days that it took me to make it.
Challenge complete ✅

What you need to know about our ‘Luna Cherub’ Tee.
This design was originally inspired by all the wee cherub sculptures that I came across in Rome this spring.. then when I came to digitalise it in summer it was at a time when I got a bit obsessed with picking blackberries or backbees as I used to call them when I was a lil bab.
