My client was preparing a 520-acre parcel in Yucca Valley for market and wanted to present a clear vision for what could be built on the land. I modeled the houses from provided plans and shaped the broader site concept to fit the existing terrain and help investors see the possibilities. There’s something exciting about starting with open desert and building the story around what it could become.

Sometimes a client project turns into a personal obsession. This one started with the same bones, same general layout. But I kept thinking about what I’d do if it were mine. Swapped the prefab shelving for fluted wood cabinets, brought in a stone desktop that converts to a standing desk, added plaster walls and warm underlighting. I may have gotten a little carried away.

Three years of renovation rebuilt in seconds.
This kitchen started as a 1992 original - oak cabinets, linoleum floors, and a wall cutting the whole room in half. We took the wall down, opened everything up, and built the island from scratch.
I’ve been learning AI video and used this project as the guinea pig. Fifteen attempts later it’s still not perfect… but seeing the space come to life like this is pretty surreal.
