🚨 URGENT: FOSTERS & TRANSPORTERS NEEDED 🚨
We are urgently looking for fosters and transporters in the Morongo Basin and western Coachella Valley to help support our rescue cats.
We need help with: • Transporting cats to medical appointments, spay/neuter visits, vaccines, and other vet care. • Short-term fosters for post-surgery recovery (up to a week) to monitor cats after spay/neuter and make sure they’re cleared. • Regular fosters, including those with experience in medical care or bottle feeding.
We’ve just taken on a big case and while we have an amazing team, we need extra hands to make sure every cat gets the care they need.
We are always in need of: wet food, kibble, litter, and immune support supplements. Many of the cats we rescue arrive sick or underweight, so donations directly help with medications, vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and SNAP testing for FELV, FIV, and FHW.
💛 By fostering or donating, you help save lives and provide these cats the care they desperately need.
If you’re in the area and can help, please reach out to us! Donation links are in the bio @mojavefelines
Thank you for supporting our lifesaving work!

Holly and her babies were on the euthanasia list. She was labeled “feral” and marked rescue only, but she is not feral. She is just scared.
We were able to pull her from a high kill shelter in time, and now she is safe with her kittens. Watching her settle in and care for her babies has been really special. She is a good mom and she is trying so hard after everything she has been through.
This is why rescue matters. Every life we save starts with someone choosing to step in.
It also comes back to spay and neuter. There are already so many cats suffering out there, and prevention is one of the only ways we can slow this crisis down and reduce future suffering.
We are volunteer based. This is not a job. Most of what we do comes out of our own pockets, and we are constantly trying to stretch limited resources while more and more cats come in needing help.
We need more fosters, more volunteers, and more people willing to learn TNR and be part of the solution.
If you want to help, donation links are in our bio. We are urgently in need of wet and dry food for kittens and cats of all ages, plus litter. Our Amazon wishlist is also in the bio.
Thank you to everyone who supports us and helps us keep going. It truly makes all the difference.

Holly’s story is one we see far too often.
She was in a shelter with her life and her babies’ lives on the line, listed as rescue only after being labeled “feral.” But many cats in shelters are simply scared. In a loud, unfamiliar place, and as a new mom trying to protect her kittens, her behavior was misunderstood.
Yesterday, we were able to pull Holly and her five kittens just in time. Now they have a chance.
Thank you to our transporter and to @applevalleycatnetwork for helping network cats out of Apple Valley Animal Shelter. There is a real need for more rescues to step in. Becoming a rescue partner takes time, and we cannot do this work alone.
We have seen many “feral” labeled cats open up once they feel safe. They just need time.
Right now, Holly is decompressing and taking great care of her babies.
We also want to share that we did post that she was safe, but yesterday was a very busy day. We are a volunteer based 501c3 and care for multiple fosters while balancing work and family. We post updates as we can and appreciate your patience.
If you ever see a cat in a carrier, that means the cat is in transport. If you see@a cat in a crate, it is temporary. New intakes are isolated and monitored since we do not know their medical history, and illnesses like ringworm, panleukopenia, FeLV, coccidia, and giardia can be contagious. This is short term and necessary to protect all cats in our care.
Rescue work is expensive. I work a full time job plus two side gigs to help support this rescue, and donations make a real difference.
We are currently in urgent need of wet and dry food for adults and kittens, and unscented clumping litter. Our Amazon wishlist is in our bio. We also have a wishlist for Cholla, our senior cat with kidney disease and arthritis who requires ongoing care, along with other special needs cats.
At this time, we are at capacity. We continue to partner with rescue partners, network, and host adoption events to get cats into homes.
Thank you for your support and for being patient with us. It truly means a lot. Donation links in our bio

Holly and her babies are safe.
It took some time for us to officially become a rescue partner with Apple Valley Animal Shelter, but we finally made it happen, and just in time. We had been trying to pull Holly and her kittens, and today was the day they were scheduled to be euthanized. Holly and all five of her babies are now safe because of that timing.
If you would like to support the life saving work we do, please consider making a donation. The link is in our bio. We are currently caring for many cats in our rescue and are in need of wet and dry food for kittens and adults, as well as unscented clumping litter.
We also take on the cost of veterinary care for every animal we rescue, so any monetary support helps us cover medical expenses and essential supplies. Thank you for being part of helping us save lives.
Thank you to our transporter and to @applevalleycatnetwork for helping network to save lives 🐾💕

Back in November, I shared about an unaltered spynx that was showing up at my feeding station. Well, he has shown up again, this time at my friend’s house.
As soon as I got the alert, I started coordinating plans, working with one of our rescue partners who will be taking this kitty on.
I set up a feeding station and also put my trap out so he can start getting used to seeing it around. Right now, it is all about building trust and a routine.
I have a camera set up to monitor the feeding station, and I used some extra smelly bait, a little sardines in water drizzled inside, to spark his curiosity.
I tried trapping this boy from November into January and he was not having it. I even switched to a drop trap, but he would not come around. Then he disappeared.
The goal right now is simple: get him comfortable, get him consistent with food, and let him feel safe showing up. Once the trapping begins, I will be pulling the feeding station
Fingers crossed he comes back to the station soon and that I get him 🤞
If you would like to help and support the lifesaving work we do, please consider sending a donation. We urgently need wet/dry food for kittens and all ages, unscented clumping litter along, we also need help covering medical expenses. Please visit the links in our bio.

Update: irresponsible owner found.
Found a medium haired black adult cat in Morongo Valley. Very friendly. Sex is unknown at this time. The kitty does not appear to have testicles, but it has a very fluffy backside so it’s hard to tell for sure.
The cat is currently safe with a short term foster who can only keep them overnight. We are urgently looking for a foster in the Morongo Basin or Coachella Valley who can care for this kitty while we search for their family.
We will be scanning for a microchip in the coming days.
If this is your cat or you can help foster, please reach out. Let’s get this kitty safe and hopefully back home.

We urgently need help for sweet Charlie 🤍
Charlie is a tabby kitten from one of two litters we rescued in Yucca Valley about three weeks ago. Tonight, his foster sent us a video that has us really concerned. At times, Charlie seems to freeze and shake slightly, then snap out of it and act normal again. It could be seizures, but we won’t know without getting him to a vet as soon as possible.
He’s otherwise eating well, maintaining a healthy weight (around 100 grams), and is the biggest of his siblings. But we’ve already lost one kitten from this group, and we are taking every sign seriously. His foster is monitoring him closely, but he needs medical care now so we can understand what’s going on and help him.
We are a small rescue, and right now we simply don’t have the funds to cover another urgent vet visit. If you can help in any way, we would be incredibly grateful. You can donate through the links in our bio, or if you prefer to pay the vet directly, please reach out and we’ll coordinate that.
We also want to be honest about where we are right now. We are at capacity. We currently have three litters of very young kittens (around 3.5 to 4.5 weeks old), along with other cats in our care who have ongoing medical needs. Many require special diets, supplements, medications, and frequent vet visits. We are already paying a significant amount out of pocket, and it’s becoming financially overwhelming.
We see all the tags and messages asking us to take in more cats, and it truly breaks our hearts to say no. Right now, the only way we can continue helping is by focusing on the animals already in our care.
Rescue comes with situations like this, and we can’t do it without support. Your tax-deductible donation directly helps us provide medical care and save lives.
We also need wet / dry kitten food, non clumping litter, wet/dry food for all ages and clumping litter. Our wishlist is in our bio.

10:00 am – 3:00 pm for the Mojave Felines adoption event. Come meet some of our fully vetted furbabies.
All cats have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated with booster vaccines, microchipped, SNAP tested (a test that checks for FIV, FELV, FHW) all have been dewormed, and treated with preventative flea & ear mite treatments.
Come by, say hi, and maybe meet your new best friend 🐾
We will also be accepting donations at our event. We are currently in need of Friskies wet food (no seafood), Fancy Feast kitten food both wet and dry (no seafood), and Fancy Feast regular food for all ages.
We are also in need of clumping unscented litter, as well as new cat beds and new cat furniture.
We will have a donation box available at the event, and if you would prefer to make a monetary donation, that is greatly appreciated as well.
Thank you so much for your support.

Meet Cleopatra.
She was rescued from a mobile home park after her owner passed away. She was once an indoor kitty, but after her person died, we were told that whoever took over care of the property ended up putting her outside. Since then, she has been surviving outdoors for years.
Cleopatra is a senior cat. She shows signs that suggest arthritis, and we are also concerned about her overall condition. Her rib cage appears unusually large and shaped differently than what we typically see in cats. We are not veterinarians, but this is something that stood out immediately. She also seems a bit uncomfortable when touched in her midsection, so we really want to get her seen by a vet as soon as possible.
Right now, we simply do not have the funds for her medical care. If you are able to help, please consider donating. Donation links are in our bio. @mojavefelines
Cleopatra is currently safe in a foster home. We do not know much about her full history due to the situation she came from, but what we do know is that she is incredibly sweet and very affectionate. She really deserves a chance to feel better and eventually find a loving forever home.
For now, our priority is getting her evaluated and figuring out what is going on medically.
We are also caring for two litters of kittens with their moms. We are in need of kitten food, both wet and dry, as well as adult cat food and litter. Our Amazon wishlist is available if you would like to donate supplies that way, and everything goes directly toward helping the animals in our care.
If you are able to contribute in any way, even sharing helps more than you know. We truly appreciate the support.
