50 miles on Saturday, and honestly… just a really good day to run.
New trails, good legs, beautiful Colorado views, and one of those race atmospheres that reminds me why I fell in love with trail running in the first place. Nothing overly complicated. No unnecessary rules or pretentiousness. Just people getting together to run on trails and share a day outside.
Seeing Nick Clark hanging around with everyone before and after the race, the community cheering for each other, and the overall simplicity of it all felt refreshing. Sometimes this sport works best when we stop trying to make it bigger than what it is. At the core, it’s just running on dirt with good people.
Body felt solid from start to finish, which makes me really excited for the summer ahead.
Also got to wear the @thenorthfacechile Alta Mesa v2 for the entire race and I can confidently say this is my favorite trail shoe I’ve ever used.
Big thanks to @kirsten.kortebein for the support always, and to the @boulderboys.show community for the early morning ride to the start line, the shout outs, and the good energy all day long.
Grateful for days like this.
Happy mother’s day to the strongest and best mom ever. Making it look easy and always putting everyone else first. You’re the best mooommy .

Running, training, life, friends and of course fam. I feel that after a while without a clear rhythm, everything is in a really good place. Probably thanks to being inspired by friends racing and by releasing any sort of self imposed pressure and focusing on having fun . Really excited for this spring and summer 🙌 .

Most proud of in 2025: building a bébé while still getting up Green, riding Gold Hill, dancing at the Fox, Nordic skiing through Breck, water taxi-ing around Mexico, flinging darts at the Downer, running in Chile, hiking at night, biking to work, swimming more miles than I ever have before and starting a new job. ❤️Each day was a big lift and did not happen unintentionally. IT WAS SO HARD. Te amo, Luca León!
