Last week we visited our reforestation project that we designed for @sohohouse Farmhouse, it has been four months since we planted this baby forest with 42 different native species of plants. Here is before and after footage of the muddy field back in March and its transformation into a growing baby forest now in July.
The forest is already attracting wildlife and wildflowers to move in. 🌿
This is a one project of many to contribute to nationwide efforts to rewild land across the UK.

While the move forward for medical science and other sciences is important, however this topic forces us to reconsider whether the future of urban nature should be engineered for spectacle, or protected in its existing, complex form. True sustainability often lies in working with natural systems, not rewriting them. 🌿

Los Angeles is a hotspot for hummingbirds, with Anna’s and Allen’s being the most common year round residents, joined by migratory species like Rufous and Black-chinned. Angelenos often support these birds with nectar rich flowering plants and feeders, allowing for close-up viewing of their vibrant, hovering, and territorial nature.

The importance of merging nature and science has never been as important as it is now in our urban environment. Almost 70% of the world’s population will be living in cities by the year 2050. This alone is enough of a reason to think outside the box and utilise original design to create 21st century solutions that help us keep our environment clean, our minds clear and our health in check. 🌿
