From conference rooms to streets that remember, we walk through the ashes of dreams, of what was once home. But even in the shadow of loss, our roots defy and our collective voice rises.
As usual, I’m a bit late to posting, but this new year must be one where people stand up for one another, side by side in front of those who remain complicit to the massacres that our families have witnessed.
This fight is not just about what we’ve lost—it’s about what we refuse to lose. Just how we all need the will to live, we must carry it on and ensure that the will for others to preserve Palestinian statehood carries on. The soil that bore me carries stories of generations, its air whispers of resilience and its waters insist on freedom. Every raised hand in 2024 was a testament of survival, sovereignty, and hope. Let us all carry the weight of what has been taken and carry a vision of what we will rebuild in 2025 and onward, and may our martyrs live peacefully in the afterlife while those in Gaza remain protected. #palestinewillbefree #climatejustice #ceasefirenow🇵🇸
I am honored and humbled to announce that my article has been published in the latest issue of Zenith Magazine, released earlier last month. 🎉
In this personal piece, I reflect on the ongoing war in Gaza, and share my own experiences and memories, and the enduring resilience of the Palestinian people. This article is a heartfelt exploration of identity, resistance, and the urgent need for true, lasting peace. It touches on the inherited identity of struggle, and the politics of it all in the MENA region.
Zenith 1/24: “The return of the Palestinian question” brings together voices from over a dozen countries, offering a global perspective on how the Gaza war is viewed and its broader implications. It’s a powerful reminder that the struggle for justice and humanity is a shared responsibility.
Engage with the crucial dialogue on how we can support Palestinians on the ground and in the diaspora, and together, let’s keep the Palestinian struggle at the forefront of our actions, ideologies, and advocacy. 🕊️❤️
You can check my Linktree in my bio to buy a copy of the magazine. The article’s published in German, with translated versions coming out soon! 🇵🇸🍉

We stood with activists and the Kick Big Polluters Out Coalition to call out major corporations and countries that have fueled the genocide in Gaza, even after the ICJ ruling earlier this year. What’s most outrageous though is that four of the countries that are still supporting the genocide by fueling Israel with oil and gas are the last two, and the next two COP host countries.
It’s time to end the control of colonial powers in the 21st century. It’s time to end the misery our families have endured.
Let us remember the lives behind the reports we read, the dreams behind the names we hear, the future that could’ve been of the children we witness dying on the news, and the lies we bear witness to by controlled media and corrupt politicians.
Stand up and humanize the situation. Stop the genocide.

Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, an award-winning journalist, has been detained by Kuwaiti authorities since 2 March while visiting family. He has been held for over a month with limited access to his lawyer.
His arrest reportedly followed social media posts related to the US-Israeli war on Iran, including sharing publicly available footage. Authorities are believed to be charging him with spreading false information, harming national security, and misusing his mobile phone.
We demand his immediate release. #FreeAhmed

Genocide is not separate from the climate crisis.
Militaries produce an estimated 5.5% of global emissions. If they were a country, they would be the fourth largest emitter on Earth.
Yet military emissions are largely excluded from UN carbon budgets. Reporting is mostly voluntary.
This is the military emissions gap: an intentional political fallacy.
Email your MP. Ask them why military emissions are not mandatory in UK climate reporting. Ask why the UK increases defence spending while cutting climate and aid budgets.
Watch The War on Climate, an 8-minute film exposing how militarism fuels climate collapse.

The present we are inhabiting is being witness to new forms of oppression and violence. Israel (together with allies from the West) are trying to erase Palestine in many dimensions, through multiple strategies.
The genocide of its population is one. Another, connected and equally profound, is through ecocide: hindering the minimum conditions for life, poisoning, bombing and destroying the land itself.
In this episode we wanted to talk about what is an ecocide and why we say that one is happening in the Palestinian territory. This is a co-creation of La Enredadera & co. with @mohammed.usrof and @bisanasafi from PICS @palclimateinstitute , and sound design by @nicoguga
