When I left home, I carried more than luggage✨.
I carried fear. I carried uncertainty. I carried questions no one could answer for me. Leaving my home country was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made. Stepping into a new environment, a new system, a new reality; everything felt unfamiliar, and at times, overwhelming. There were moments I doubted myself. Moments I wondered if I was truly ready for everything I had prayed for. But growth has a way of demanding courage. And somehow, through faith, discipline, and quiet reflection… I kept going.
Today, I wear this graduation gown as a symbol, not just of achievement, but of resilience, becoming, and the courage to begin again.
Still in my twenties, and by the grace of God, I now stand with Four Degrees.
🎓First Degree — Best Graduating Student.
🎓Second Degree — First Class Honours.
🎓Third Degree — Best Graduating Student.
🎓Fourth Degree — Distinction & Outstanding Student Award in Creative Arts, with all A’s across modules.
This is more than a collection of degrees. It is a journey of growth, of stretching beyond limits, of learning, unlearning, and becoming. And even now, I know I am still a work in progress. There is so much more ahead, so much more to learn, so much more to become✨.
To my parents, thank you for your sacrifices, your prayers, and your belief in me.
To my family, my friends, and every loved one who has been part of this journey, thank you for standing with me, for supporting me, and for reminding me, even in uncertain moments, that I am not alone.
If there is anything this journey has taught me, it is this: Sometimes, you have to step into the unknown before you discover who you are meant to be.
And sometimes, the life you prayed for will require a version of you you’ve never been before.
This is not the end.
This is becoming.
God did this🙏.
