This #halloween I decided to make a #jester hat out of leather. Made my own pattern, used a lot of scrap leather, and had to figure out how to make it all work through trial and error. Eventually had to hand sew parts of it while in the car with a phone light 😭 Spent a couple weeks and late nights to finish, took some progress shots and videos. My first major project working with leather, my fingers are still sore 😵💫 #clowns get in free
I got this jersey at a thrift store some time ago with plans of altering it, I recently picked up sewing so I figured I would practice hemming. This was a 2xl when I got it, but I knew I could make it work. Ended up exceeding whatever I envisioned at the time, but I finally got around to getting pictures of it. I’ve been telling my friends for a while that this “sportswear” look (s/o Stephen) is gonna be huge soon, just wait. 🕊️

The video has no meaning, I thought of it as a proof of concept for future endeavors. My brother helped me film this a couple nights ago, very appreciative. ❤️
