But I don’t care. English isn’t my first language - Yorùbá is. And embracing my culture changed my life.
Culture made the right people see me for who I truly am.
The world connected with me because I stayed authentic.

Grateful. Truly grateful.
First, to the Creator - for life, for breath, for the gift of being here. For growth… for forever progression.
This moment almost didn’t happen. I was broken. I was hurting. I nearly missed the show because my little brother, Femi… is gone. And in that pain, all I could think about was being there for my family.
But I remembered something… Femi knew about this. We spoke about it. He was happy for me. And deep down, I knew - he would’ve wanted me to be there.
So I stepped on that stage, not alone… but with him.
