Our turret boards are made completely in-house.
No factory robots hiding in the back. Just raw board stock getting cut, drilled, and fitted with turrets one by one.
We start with flat sheet, cut it to size, drill every hole, then press the turrets so they’re locked in tight.
Amp building starts long before a single component is soldered.

This is a replacement late-70s 2204-style head cab we’ve just finished.
Classic black tolex, white piping and the correct proportions for that era. Built as a straight swap for a customer whose original cab had seen a few too many decades of “character.”

A quick look at why we pre-heat our transformers before varnish potting.
The ones in the first photo are being warmed to drive out moisture and help the varnish soak properly into the windings. It keeps everything stable and extends the life of the transformer.
The second photo is what happens when that step gets skipped.
Bone-dry card, poor varnish penetration, and a transformer that ends up noisier and far less reliable than it should be.
Small step, big difference.

The top panel is a custom faceplate we made for a customer in Australia who’s using it as part of a home-decor DIY project, some cupboard bookshelves if I remember correctly!
The one underneath is our regular amp faceplate for size reference.
Same materials, same finish, just built to a much larger scale for what is apparently a very committed piece of home decoration.
