Vida en Nicaragua 🇳🇮
@vic_of_earth hit me up in December and invited me to run a race up a volcano in Nicaragua and I thought “I’ve literally never done anything that cool”. I HAD to make it happen.
Not only did I complete the @fuegoyagua.adventure race, but I hiked to ancient petroglyphs and meditated with friends amongst howler monkeys, I crossed the border from Costa Rica to Nica and back with Vic, I survived nights sleeping while bullet ants did their thing in my hut, I drank fresh juices and Nicaraguan rum, got faded up by a local barber, saw scorpions, toads, frogs etc. nightly, and met incredible humans along the way.
This trip, the people I spent time with, the food I ate, the drinks we drank, the money we spent 😭 everything was so beautiful and I’m eternally thankful for this experience. I’m now lowkey obsessed with volcanoes and need my next fix immediately lol
