Birthdays are strange… growing up they were always an exciting day. It felt like a day closer to driving or voting or drinking or some milestone, but as you get older you start to dread them. On this day (that I’ve dreaded) I’m feeling a huge sense of gratitude. I’m grateful that my heart is still beating, but even more grateful that my family, chosen family, friends, work friends, frenemies and virtual friends are all amazing, creative, magical, intelligent beings. Humans who care and continually show up for me when I need them the most. Thank you and love you all!
