ModifiedMatter ist ein Drum & Bass DJ und Produzent aus Oberösterreich, bekannt für seinen düsteren, druckvollen Sound und seinen präzisen, energiegeladenen Mixing-Stil.
Seit über fünf Jahren hinter den Decks bewegt sich ModifiedMatter souverän zwischen den härteren Spielarten des Drum & Bass. Sein Sound reicht von düsterem, aggressivem Jump-Up über rollende Neuro-Einflüsse bis hin zu treibenden Dancefloor-Weapons – immer mit einem starken Fokus auf Atmosphäre, Druck und Drive.
Was ModifiedMatter besonders macht, ist sein Gespür für Spannungsaufbau und Kontraste: In seinen Sets treffen schwere Basslines auf filigrane Edits, unpolierte Rawness auf durchdachtes Arrangement. Dabei greift er regelmäßig auf sorgfältig kuratierte Tracks aus der Tiefe der Szene zurück – darunter viele unbekannte Perlen, Dubplates und eigene Produktionen.
Seine Sets sind mehr als nur Mixe – sie sind intensive, düstere Klangreisen, bei denen kein Dancefloor unberührt bleibt. ModifiedMatter ist eine feste Größe in der österreichischen DnB-Szene – und ein Act, den man sich merken sollte.
