We recently hosted our second ever ModEx retreat in Saint Louis, Missouri at the @1stphorm HQ building. The event was one of the best three days of my life, and safe to say that was the shared consensus of all of our members at the event. Huge shout out to Andy and the rest of the team at 1st Phorm. You guys run a truly incredible operation and definitely planted edifying seeds in our men. Much more to come from The Modern Exodus. Men don’t talk about their struggles and their problems.
We are told that’s not ok.
We’re told that’s pussy sh*t.
We’re told that’s weak.
So we bottle it all up for the most part and allow it to consume us.
We have been purposely isolated for that reason.
A man alone in his struggles and quiet about the pain is a man who can be submitted and controlled.
“They” know this.
They know that if we fight those battles alone day in and day out and have nothing to focus on but how we can keep up in the rat race and survive with us and ours, we are not a threat.
But when we come together as men and talk and listen and fight together, we become everything they fear.
The Modern Exodus is an exit from this decaying world and a joining of brothers to restore order for ourselves, our families and our communities.
Men are not meant to do it alone.
This is a brotherhood.

The problem with society starts with weak men and a lack of community. No one is perfect, but taking time to reflect on your weaknesses and develop yourself into a capable man should be priority #1.
@andyfrisella assigned us homework, and it was to reflect on what we needed to fix about ourselves to become the best versions of ourselves. I shared mine with @modex_project , but maybe one day I’ll share them on here. It takes putting your ego aside and reflecting on your imperfections to work toward becoming the best version of yourself.
If every man and woman did this, we would have a stronger country. I encourage you to reflect and take action day by day.

I started a “group chat” almost 4 months ago now, according to the internet.
Anyway, group chats are fun.
The faces of those men you see? That’s pure joy, fulfillment, accomplishment and knowing they are the difference in this world. That’s what Modex is all about.
