After working on this project for the last two months, stoked to say that the Modest Director 2025 Live Music Compilation DVDs are finally out now! Each DVD comes with a photo booklet inside, made up of photos of the bands from mostly the same sets on the DVD. 47 bands, at least 10 different venues, and 6 photographers’ work included in this project. @thesameerproject ) which supports the people of Palestine with food and clean water. Doing music, being in a band, doing video/photography are truly privileges that we all get to enjoy, so I feel it’s only right to recognize that and do what we can to help others.

Huge thank you to all the bands that let me put their songs on this DVD, and to the photographers that let me use their photos for the cover and the booklet. It’s been so awesome to include so many people in one piece of work. To me, this compilation isn’t just a collection of work, but a symbol for unity, which I feel is one of the ultimate goals for any society or any scene.
This has been such a learning experience. Although I would have liked to release this sooner, I’m happy I was able to learn the process and do it right. I’ve gained so much respect for those who produce physical media and physical products in general. It really puts in perspective how simple publishing stuff online can be. That being said, now that I’m finished with this project, I’ll be back to publishing videos to YouTube on a regular basis.
