Three years ago I was living in (and working from) a small studio apartment in Potts Point, constantly reshuffling the furniture to redefine not only the space but the impression of each as how it made me feel and kept up with the momentum of day-to-day life.
As I moved through other spaces throughout the world, from tiny apartments to galleries and concept stores, I’ve felt connected to ways in which each can adapt and move with us and inform how we feel as a result. The agility of architecture has been really a running theme I’ve been exploring ever since.
After two years of experimenting, drawing and discussing this design, we have finally brought it to life. The intention is to offer a piece of furniture that enables this agility within a space on an every day scale.
This will be the start of a series of modular pieces for transitional spaces which we will begin to release at the end of October.
