Our Mother’s Day cover belongs to a woman who proves that motherhood, like greatness, has no expiration date. Korina Sanchez-Roxas — journalist, broadcaster and one of the most enduring voices in Philippine media — has built a career defined by breaking news, commanding screens and shaping conversations.
Now, she opens up about raising her twins, Pepe and Pilar, with the same wisdom and intention she brought to every story she ever told. Her journey is a love letter to every woman who dared to do things on her own terms and trust her own timeline.

Claude. ChatGPT. CoPilot. Siri. Gemini. Deepseek. — all those have become the poster apps for AI. Or at least, what many would call the “peak” of today’s developments for artificial intelligence.
So, what does it mean to use them?
Kids have already started using AI. Gemini answers their questions when they search on Google. ChatGPT does their homework after they “copy and paste” the teacher’s instructions onto the chat box. Siri finds our phones through voice command. We’ve already been using AI without realizing it.
Although, use doesn’t equal “mastery.” AI literacy has become something that parents may have to insist on as the world demands more speed and efficiency.
So, what does AI literacy mean for you? Comment below or click the link in the bio to read more about it.

Motherhood seems to grant Filipino women a special set of powers, inclusive of:
Instilling dread via countdown.
Turning “bahala ka” into a threat.
Setting the whole family straight with one look.
Basic medical knowledge built from the collective memories of the moms and lolas before us.
...and many others.
As we celebrate Mother’s month, we honor every Filipino mom’s saint-like patience and iron determination it takes to contain their families’ chaos. We cheer on the Filipino moms who’ve finally chosen themselves. And most of all, we stand with every Filipino mom who smiles through the tears as they celebrate and grieve their kids’ milestones.
So to all the Filipino moms around the world who find the strength everyday to fiercely love: Happy Mother’s Month.

Pregnancy comes with enough worries—cost shouldn’t be one of them.
The expanded maternity package from PhilHealth now includes higher delivery coverage and more prenatal and postnatal care, helping moms access the support they deserve.

“Ang tigas ng ulo mo!”
Most parents have said it at least once—but what if that “stubbornness” is a manifest of something else?
What if it’s simply a child trying to figure things out for themselves?
Or better yet, what if they’ve stumbled onto a solution to something we’ve been stressing over all day?
That’s something worth applauding.
Kids have a natural sense of curiosity, and they’re constantly developing what psychologists call “insight”—the ability to connect ideas that don’t seem related at first glance. So when they insist on something, their reasoning may not be as weird as it sounds.

AI may have a lot of answers, but it can’t replace thinking.
That’s something only humans can do. It may look it because it “mimics.” But that’s as far as it gets. At some point, many will discover evolving past it.
AI may be convenient because it churns out instant answers. The real edge is knowing how to question, analyze, and decide.
Start there.

It’s Earth Day today! But don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be a grand celebration to matter!
Sometimes it’s a plant on the windowsill, a walk after merienda, or letting your kids transform “trash” into what they consider art.
Small, slow, and steady—as a famous movie once said, “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.”

Do you have kids playing Roblox? If you do, then the latest update is something you need to read up on!
Last April 13, 2026, Roblox added a new security feature for accounts—one that differentiates accounts based on features. The two new account types, Roblox Kids and Roblox Select, offer both a filter in content and social interaction to ensure the game does what it’s supposed to do for kids: to let them have fun.
The kids might feel like they’re being restricted. But, let’s be honest: most games can be enjoyed so long as they have good gameplay and story. The other features like the online chat with other players? That’s just a bonus! Sometimes, other gamers even block the chat because they just want to “have fun.” Not deal with the toxicity of the community.
So, if ever they ask, just tell them, “It’s a feature you need to unlock and it’s time-gated. Meaning, you can’t rush.”
Because when raising a gamer, the best thing you can do is let them actually enjoy the gameplay and features. Online socials can happen later.
