UPDATE: A few weeks ago we woke up to our house on fire! 🏡🔥 everybody is alright, but the house is uninhabitable now and it’s still up in the air as to whether repairs will be made or it’ll be claimed a total loss. Most of my stuff has smoke/water damage so I’m starting pretty much from fresh aside from some things I managed to keep safe. My insuance has me in a hotel for now, but I’m currently fighting @usaa for issues with my policy and it seems like that’ll take a while to figure out. I’m also unable to work while I’m dealing with everything at the house for the time being (I typically work out of town so I can’t be 2 places at once) so living expenses are tight right now! But I’m doing what I can while I’m paying out of pocket to take care of things, & I know that God will bring something good out of this situation! I’d take any help I can get in the meantime to make things easier as I transition and keep figuring out my next steps though.
