People have created this false narrative that
1. Real models don’t work for FREE
2. Doing FREE work makes you look desperate
3. If it’s not paid, it’s not worth it.
Now I’m not saying go out there and never get paid for your time or experience, but even at your job you have to show your worth. It’s the same for modeling!
Not every opportunity pays in cash but many pay in connections, content and credibility. Put your pride aside and invest in your career. Even well known models still shoot TFP from time to time to build their portfolios.
