SYDNEY AW26 REBUILD + DATE CHANGE 🥲
A warm welcome to everyone dipping their toes in for the first time. A hello and 🫶 to current ticket holders who were emailed yesterday!
Turns out the start of our EMERGENCE campaign for Sydney AW26 and beyond was a bigger jolt than we thought. Throughout last week we’ve met new friends, started new conversations, and looked over new proposals.
2 are right in line with why Moda is. Just is.
Both of them required more time.
So we looked around and asked - do we actually need to be in May? Not really.
Next up was June 20. After a big week of recalibration we are well and truly locked and loaded. We’ve thrown the key into White Bay and that’s that.
2 designers added rounding us to a subtle 15.
Our first blossoming presentation on the wharf is looking GLORIOUS and a silly idea we had for the DJ booth is now in the works. Tip - bring your best coat. Cloak room is going to POP OFF.
Alongside that alterations to the wharf area and exposed new opportunity for harbourside runway dining (yes you read that right).
We opted for 2 more weeks than we needed because we are damn sure that the networking has only just begun.
So it’s over to you. Ideas, concepts, dreams - anything you want to throw our way for AW26 and beyond.
We’ll soon announce limited number of management roles for the night and various volunteer roles ranging from H&MU, runway production, dressing assistants and more. We’re also looking to hire multiple part time and full time roles looking at July starts - more on this soon.
