After the nhâm nhi comes the no nê - when laughter softens, stories linger, and the gentle clink of chopsticks fills the air.
Mì Quảng, Phở Đuôi Bò Bắp Hoa, Lẩu Mắm, Bún Trộn Nấm Đậu Hũ, Cơm Bún Hến - the kind of dishes that stop the table mid-sentence,
flavors doing the talking.

Visited @mocmacnyc during their off hours (perks of being a leasing broker @titangroupny ) for the besttttttt lunch ever. This meal changed my life. I will be here regularly ! Musttttt try!
baby clam bites and betel leaf wagyu?!! 🥹
@mocmacnyc is a newer vietnamese restaurant in east village that opened at the end of 2025, bringing authentic flavors from vietnam that i’ve never experienced before. the menu is pretty seafood forward, with unique dishes like baby clam bites (from central vietnam) and mekong delta-style (fermented fish) hot pot (from southern vietnam) 🐟
i personally LOVE seafood and everything was delicious! don’t miss out on the betel leaf wagyu appetizer, which was super tender and aromatic - possibly my favorite dish of the meal. ✨
featuring:
❀ baby clam bites
❀ charred pork jowl
❀ betel leaf wagyu 🌟
❀ saigon sautéed corn
❀ quang nam golden noodle 🌟
❀ mekong delta reverie
❀ from huế with clams 🌟 (be careful w the sauce, this one is SPICY)
i’m so excited to see more vietnamese restaurants pop up around the city. the flavors were definitely unique and would highly recommend coming with a group to try more items!
(🫣 the cocktails were unfortunately super strong and not my fave…. pro tip would be to stick with their non alcoholic drinks which i have heard good things about!)

My friend and I were excited to order Lẩu Mắm, a signature hot pot dish, at a new Vietnamese restaurant in East Village 👀
Then it happened to be the warmest day of 2025 so far with a high of 75F 🥵🥵 (I’m not complaining though, I can’t wait for spring 🌱)
Sooo instead of hot pot we shared several small plates :D
The interior was cute ✔️ The food is delish ✔️ In my opinion, the sauces made each dish. Each dish came with a different sauce that brought a unique complementary flavor to the marinated protein (whether it was the pork, squid, or wagyu beef). I wonder how they track them all??
We shared 4 small plates between two people, which was the perfect amount of food. It came out to be $40pp.
Our res was at 6pm. It didn’t get crowded until around 7pm- then it started to get moderately noisy.

Taste of Vietnam in NYC! 🫶🏼
@mocmacnyc recently just opened and I’m a fan! The space is well decorated to make you feel like you’ve transported to Vietnam! 🇻🇳
They have some really unique Vietnamese dishes like mí quảng which is a turmeric noodle dish from the central region. They had bun hèn which is a baby clam rice noodle dish with a flavorful sauce, Lau Mam is a hotpot from the Mekong Delta Reverie which is the far south of vietnam! 😍
Everything was so unique and so flavorful! We also enjoyed the pork jowl, betel leaf wagyu, fried tofu, and basil clams! 🤩
