When I started out, being a Pro MUA didn’t entail the pressure of social media and capturing content.
I’m not an influencer. However, I respect those that are influencing and making a career out of it.
It’s not luck to work as a On-set MUA. It’s been a long road of learning technique, growing professionally and providing excellent service to those that believe in services, regardless of followers size.
I hope more MUA’s start to feel proud of their work and not compare themselves to beauty influencers online. Both are valid careers but are completely different career paths.

I asked @briworek a few important questions in our consultation, “What is this photoshoot representing? Picture your ideal client, how would you want to look? What is your normal routine?
All these questions, will help my artist mind narrow down a style that will aim towards a comfort zone. My goal is not only making her feel beautiful and photoshoot ready, but to prepare her emotionally for the camera. I’m not saying all artists have to do this, but I think it’s very helpful for the client and photographers.
