#Mobycon40Jaar 👇 English below Lokale kennis is de sleutel tot slimme mobiliteitsoplossingen. In 1986 begon het avontuur van Mobycon op een zolderkamer in Delft. Inmiddels is die zolderkamer ingeruild voor drie mooie locaties door heel Nederland en meerdere locaties in het buitenland. We merkten al snel dat we met een kantoor in Delft vooral veel wisten over deze regio. Omdat we diezelfde diepgaande kennis ook in andere gebieden wilden bieden, openden we in 1994 onze eerste vestiging in Zwolle. Daar gingen lokale experts aan de slag die het noorden van Nederland door en door kennen. Ook voor het zuiden van Nederland werd het tijd voor een eigen plek. Daarom openden we in 1998 onze derde locatie in Eindhoven. Inmiddels zijn we in het zuiden een aantal keer verhuisd en is het prachtige Den Bosch onze vaste uitvalsbasis geworden. De rode draad door al onze kantoren is de bereikbaarheid. Of je ons nu bezoekt in Delft, Zwolle of Den Bosch, je vindt ons altijd op een steenworp afstand van het treinstation. Dat past bij onze missie om de wereld minder afhankelijk van de auto te maken. --- #Mobycon40Years Local knowledge is the key to smart mobility solutions. Mobycon's story began in 1986 in an attic in Delft. Since then, that small attic has been traded for three beautiful offices across the Netherlands, as well as several offices abroad. Early on, we realized that being based in Delft gave us deep expertise in that specific region, but we wanted to offer that same local insight elsewhere. To achieve this, we opened our first branch in Zwolle in 1994, where local experts took the lead with a deep understanding of the North of the Netherlands. Eventually, it was time for the South to have its own dedicated hub as well. We opened our third location in Eindhoven in 1998, and after a few moves within the region, we have now made the beautiful city of Den Bosch our home base in the South. The common thread running through all our offices is accessibility. Whether you visit us in Delft, Zwolle, or Den Bosch, you will always find us just a stone's throw away from the train station. This aligns perfectly with our mission to make the world less dependent on cars.

How a seasonal event leads to urban evolution. 🌳🏙️ The city of Dessau-Roßlau 🇩🇪 is transforming for the Federal Horticulture Show (BUGA 2035) under the motto „Eine Stadt wird BUGA“ (a city becomes BUGA). The vision? Turning urban traffic axes into sustainable "joints" (Fugen) that connect the city's green spaces. Our strategic consultant, Torsten Perner, recently led the discussion on mobility in a two-day workshop to help the city design these axes. Nu zijn Anna en David officieel gecertificeerd om de kwaliteit van EuroVelo- en alle andere fietsroutes te beoordelen. Wij zijn benieuwd welke routes zij als eerste gaan beoordelen! 🚲 A safer trip to school Today marks Bike & Roll to School Day, a celebration of active commuting across the U.S. and beyond. At Mobycon, we work closely with local communities to develop programs and infrastructure that enable safe, sustainable mobility for families. 🏫 Our recent work in the municipality of Amersfoort, the Netherlands, demonstrates what is possible. Through a School Street pilot, we helped create an environment where motorized traffic was restricted during drop-off and pick-up hours. This led to a noticeable increase in parents choosing active transport and an overall improvement in the quality of the school zone. Our team provided full support throughout the pilot, ensuring a smooth process for everyone involved. Project ShareDiMobiHub: Hoe verlaag je de drempel voor deelvervoer in buitenwijken? Voor de Gemeente Rotterdam onderzochten we hoe we deelvervoer toegankelijker kunnen maken in wijken waar het gebruik achterblijft. Het resultaat? ✅ 70% van de deelnemers probeerde deelvervoer dankzij het aangeboden reistegoed. ✅ 10% stijging in de bekendheid en het gebruik van lokale mobiliteitshubs. ✅ Ruim 37.000 ritten gemaakt door meer dan 2.500 enthousiaste deelnemers. Dankzij deze pilot heeft Rotterdam nu een gevalideerd maatregelenpakket in handen om deelvervoer stadsbreed en inclusief te stimuleren. Benieuwd naar de volledige aanpak? Throughout the week, we explored: 👉 Multimodal systems that prioritize people over cars. 👉 Climate-resilient urban design for a changing world. 👉 Innovative cycling networks through cycling tours. From the bustling streets of Rotterdam to high-level strategic discussions, the energy was focused on one goal: providing participants with firsthand insights to help them shape a more sustainable and accessible future in EAP cities. #Mobycon40Jaar 👇 English below Van de weg naar het water ⚓️ Sinds 2018 voeren we voor de gemeente Amsterdam onderzoeken uit naar het gebruik van het Amsterdamse binnenwater. Deze onderzoeken leveren waardevolle input over het aantal vaarbewegingen op de grachten van Amsterdam. Ook in 2025 was Mobycon weer een bekend gezicht op de Amsterdamse grachten. Voor een grootschalig botenonderzoek monitorden onze veldwerkers het binnenwater op dertien locaties, zowel in de zomer als in het (iets koudere maar niet minder gezellige) najaar. Gemeente Amsterdam gebruikt onze inzichten bij complexe kwesties als het vergunningstelsel, slimme dienstregelingen en een evenwichtiger gebruik van het binnenwater. Geen situatie is hetzelfde en dat begrijpen we als geen ander. Of het nu gaat om complexe verkeersstromen, moeilijk bereikbare meetpunten of specifieke wensen op het gebied van dataverwerking: we geloven in een aanpak die past bij de specifieke casus. These studies provide valuable data on the number of boat trips on Amsterdam’s canals. In 2025, Mobycon was once again a familiar face along Amsterdam's canals. For a large-scale vessel study, our fieldworkers monitored waterways at 13 locations. From the bustling summer months to the (slightly colder, but no less charming) autumn season, our colleagues were there to collect data. The City of Amsterdam uses these insights to tackle complex challenges, including the licensing system, smart scheduling, and achieving a more balanced use of the city’s waterways. No two traffic situations are the same. Whether it involves complex traffic flows, hard-to-reach monitoring points, or specific data processing requirements, we work together to find a solution that perfectly fits your specific case.
