Mobius Artists Group presents "Mobius Live/This is Dance!" at The Dance Complex on Friday 5/22 at 8pm!
Mobius presents an evening of performance featuring the work of Michael Figueroa, Laila J. Franklin, LOCULUS (Olana Flynn and Madison Palffy), and Audrey MacLean, curated by Jimena Bermejo. Rooted in experimentation, humor, and curiosity, this work plays with the edges of dance and performance.

Sunday!
Students from art programs all over Boston will be showing short works of performance art at the Boston City Hall Civic Pavillion this coming Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 7-9PM.
Please come out to support our area student performers!
Mobius Artists Group welcomes you to an evening of performance art and participatory projects involving movement, play, language, light, and music, all responding to this place and time in American history. Returning to Boston City Hall for a second year in a row, Mobius continues to feel the weight of the precarious political climate that many in our nation are experiencing. Sometimes it feels like all we can do is Recalibrate continuously– adjust ourselves each day to the endlessly emerging risks within our country and toward our civil liberties. As a collective, Mobius recognizes that work does not happen individually. Let us come together, hold hands, and remember that navigating the tightrope of a shifting democracy has always required conversation, collaboration, and perhaps most importantly, curiosity. How else can we envision the future of our society?
Recalibrate was made possible by the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, supported by ILLUMINUS, and includes the work of 13 Mobius members and 4 invited collaborators.
Light food and beverage will be provided by American Provisions, courtesy of the Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture.
Recalibrate: An Evening of Performance & Participation
From parking ticket windows to the amphitheatre-like steps of the Mezzanine, experience City Hall transformed through movement, play, language, light, and music at @mobiusinc ’s “Recalibrate.”
At this evening of performance art and participatory projects, 13 Mobius members and 4 invited collaborators will respond to this place and time in American history.

Our queer poetry open mic is back for a fourth year!
Artists, poets, aliens, lovers, and queers of all cosmos are invited to land your love ships at Boston City Hall Plaza and find us inside the Civic Pavilion on Valentine’s Day from 4–6pm for this stellar affair.
Sign up to share poetry, writing, or lyrics about the queer loves that make up your universe at this open mic evening. At a time when LGBTQ+ communities are being encroached upon by the dark matter of this Earthly plane, coming together to celebrate queerness and transcendental love is sure to be a celestial experience!
We’re thrilled to partner with @mobiusinc and @artsinboston to present this year’s program as well as welcome back our otherworldly emcee, @motherjuniper and event curator, @jasper_a_sanchez .

Come catch this roulette wheel of performance art tomorrow night at 8pm at @lilypadinman ! It's a favorite program of ours because it's super free range in terms of medium, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. It also really forces a deepened understanding of time: the duration "one minute" never feels more variable than at the annual One Minute Movement Solos program! Expect minutes that go by faster than lightning, and minutes that last forever. ...
Here's the lineup! Come watch us stretch one minute in 18 different directions on January 10th!
