“Searching for community means authentically reaching out and not being afraid to put yourself out there, so you can really attract the tribe that is meant for you.” At Zen Fest, @zeusviibes shared a powerful reminder for anyone looking for community: be vocal about your needs, show up in the spaces you want to be in, and trust that the right people will meet you there. Too often, people search for connection in silence. Zeus reminded us that community can begin with the courage to speak what you need, name what you deserve, and put yourself in spaces where you can be seen. MOBI is proud to support conversations that affirm Black queer joy, wellness, connection, and the power of finding your people. Where do you find your community? Lets us know in the comments 👇🏾👇🏽👇🏼👇🏿 #MOBI #ZenFest #REACHLA #BlackQueerWellness #BlackQueerJoy

MOBI was proud to partner with REACH LA for Zen Fest 2026, a free mental health and wellness summit rooted in community, care, creativity, and connection. Held in Downtown Los Angeles at The East Angel, Zen Fest brought together community members, artists, wellness practitioners, advocates, and partners for a full day of sound baths, yoga, breathwork, panels, food, performances, and culturally grounded wellness experiences. For MOBI, this partnership reflects our continued commitment to creating spaces where Black, Brown, Latine, LGBTQ+, and allied communities can access wellness, build meaningful relationships, and feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Thank you to REACH LA, Zen Folk, the Mental Health Department, and everyone who helped make this day possible. We are grateful to be in community with you. #MOBI #ZenFest #REACHLA #BlackQueerWellness #MentalHealthAwareness

We couldn’t close out Black History Month without spotlighting a leader who is actively shaping the future of Black queer representation in the media. From grassroots organizing to serving as Vice President of Community and Media at @glaad , @dashawnusher has built a career rooted in equity, advocacy, and intentional community building. Through initiatives like the @blackqueercreativesummit @mobinyc the Equity in Media and Entertainment Initiative, and his work amplifying Black LGBTQ+ storytellers, Usher continues to prove that representation isn’t just about visibility — it’s about infrastructure, opportunity, and legacy. In this conversation, we dive into his journey, his mission, and what’s next for Black queer creatives. See Full Interview at Facebook.com/jackdapp Interview 🎙️ by @parkerxl
