tomorrow we present concerts with LA Timpa & boli group, in collaboration with @alice_nbro ❕ we hope to see you. tickets are available thru link in bio 💭 LA Timpa was born in Lagos, Nigeria and immigrated to Toronto, Canada at the age of 6. In 2019 Timpa released his debut album 'Equal Amounts Afraid' with London label o___O?, followed by 'Modern Antics in a Deserted Place' (Halcyon Veil) and most recently 'Pity by One All Good Treasure' (o___O?). In 2024 he releases his fourth album 'Time of Marcker' the first full-length album under his own imprint Vulgarteen. Since the beginning of the project in 2015, he has collaborated with several artists like Tricky, Klein, Space Afrika. boli group Led by the Copenhagen-based composer and producer Aase Nielsen, boli group is an ensemble with a changing musical lineup. Aase Nielsen challenges and undermines the conventions of classical music. Micro-genres such as critical regional folk music, evergreens, power emo, SoMe folk, and post-original-bad-mood music are explored in the compositions and materialized into new music.
