First, I just have to say that I’m extremely proud of myself for getting here. I’ve been thrown some curve balls over the years but I refused to let them get in the way of my dream. I worked hard and set my mind to a goal that seemed nearly impossible at one point.
The Olympic games were bittersweet for me. The last few months have been the hardest months of my life without my dad. I was unsure if I had the strength to keep going but here we are! and I know he’s proud from above. I’m sad I got hurt and was unable to kick out of an Olympic start gate but that’s ski racing and I’m ok with it. There will be more chances☺️ I am just so happy I could be part of something bigger than myself. That team atmosphere was very special.

I’m happy to be home and to get my knee fixed up so I can get back to what I love doing most.
