Ils étaient résidents du 55 à la fin des années 80.
Club connu des clubbers des années 90, car il est à l’origine du Fuse.
Peter Decuypere a créé le 55 qui a connu un gros succès puis créera ensuite le Fuse en 94 qui deviendra une institution.

Mo Disko est un DJ belge, actif depuis de nombreuses années.
Une trajectoire construite à travers les clubs et les scènes, d’Ibiza à Londres jusqu’à l’Australie.
Membre de The Glimmers, il s’est imposé par la qualité et la singularité de ses sélections.
Si vous ne connaissez pas The Glimmers, peut-être que le duo Mo & Benoelie vous parlera plus si vous avez fréquenté les clubs belges dans les années 90/2000. Très actif en Belgique et plus particulièrement à Gent, ils ont démarré leur carrière au célèbre club 55 tenu par Peter Decuypere qui créera ensuite le FUSE à Bruxelles.
Mo & Benoelie étaient les résidents des soirées Free The Funk et Eskimo, qui donneront naissance aux fameuses compilations du même nom.
Entre disco, funk et électronique, ses sets avancent librement, sans cloison.
Il développe aujourd’hui Rheinzand, un projet à la croisée du live et de l’électronique.

Last Saturday, we had the honour of hosting a fantastic and deeply moving night at Club Wintercircus in Ghent (Belgium), as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of Sound Metaphors.
The brand-new A/V installation hit the sweet spot, creating an intimate atmosphere where music and lights complemented each other beautifully.
Castro represented the hard-to-pin-down signature sound his edits and labels are known for: reimagined dance floor obscurities from a bygone era, alongside transformed, psychedelic twists on 80s monster hits. A much-needed fresh breeze in the realm of leftfield disco, hi-NRG, proto-house and beyond.
Up next was very special guest JG Wilkes from Optimo (Espacio). The courage he showed by playing out so shortly after losing his partner was a huge accomplishment in itself. What followed was an astonishing masterclass in combining styles, rhythms, and moods — done in such a compelling way that only the greatest selectors of our generation can achieve.
From EBM, to wave, to acid house, to dubby techno, you name it… Jonnie carried the torch with pride and showed us the way. Optimo forever!
A special mention goes out to UNOS for the perfect warm-up (including Enigma’s ‘Sadeness’) — we salute you.
Last but far from least, a huge thanks to all Mo’ Juice enthusiasts — the hardcore party people who are there, on the dance floor, each and every edition. You keep us going!
