THE EVENT - @annacopacabanna@land_jockey invited my band to play a fundraising event raise funds for the Lower Eastside Girls Club and the YWCA. I’m so stoked to have so many amazing women in my life like the people pictured above and can’t wait to make some music for you ❤️

This past year has been one of the hardest, with sickness and a million other challenges, but facing it all has only been possible because I have you by my side. 24 or whatever
I’m making 2 posts because I haven’t posted in a while.
This year sucked! But I got some really beautiful things out of it. Found out I have behcets after a super long autoimmune disease journey (most are). But I’m super grateful that I have more knowledge about what’s been going on with my body. It’s still hard as to go through taking 8 million medications and being in constant pain is learning how to manage it. I broke some ribs, herniated some discs, got a million tests done, vomited some blood, and was I really scared. All while a lot of other things were blowing up in my personal life.
I had few things that kept me going which I’m eternally grateful for those things included my friends, my family, music, pimento, and my partner.
I made a ton of songs this year with someone who I met right as I turned 23. We developed a really solid friendship first learned how to make music together and be partners in music and then learned how to be in love. Pimento loves them almost as much as I do. The first song is about how much I love my cat and the second is about how much I love them. Throughout this hellish year I got to make some of the best art I’ve ever made and I’m really excited to share it with the world soon and I’m so stoked to be with someone who understands me through music and sees my whole soul.
