If you know me, you know how much I love dreams. I love hearing them, sharing mine, and holding onto the feeling of them when I wake up. It has always felt like a gift in my life.
Excited to start exploring that in my work and documenting what I dream.
This piece is the beginning of that, titled “My Bloody Hands”
I’ve always loved beautiful spaces, but I’ve started noticing how many of them end up feeling the same. Pretty, but a little predictable.
And the thing that changes everything? Art.
So I’ve been on a little missions of placing really special artworks into already beautiful spaces, to give them more depth and feeling. We’ve done that at @innhere.joburg w the lobby, which is now a living gallery with pieces from incredible artists.
Come by tomorrow or Sunday, 9am–12pm. I’ll be there to walk you through it all. Everything you see is available too.

As if you weren’t already spoilt by the talent on show next week it’s only right we team up once again with @mo.modupi who is eeeeeeasily one of our favourite artists and someone we have teamed up over many years and many projects.
But what’s even better this time is that for our monthly artwork giveaway we’re switching things up a bit. As you should know by now our focus this year is about bringing things back into the real world.
Less online. More in person.
So it only feels right that this month’s giveaway happens live at FACE 2 FACE.
We’ll be giving away this brilliant A1 framed piece by @mo.modupi .
Naledi is a Johannesburg-based multidisciplinary artist whose work celebrates Black womanhood, identity, heritage and pride.
She’s been named a Design Indaba Emerging Creative, exhibited at Decorex, Latitudes Art Fair, the V&A, and she’s even worked with brands like adidas and Converse. Her work centres on bold portraiture, strong line work, and vibrant colour.
All of her work feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in something much bigger.
