Little repost today as I’m returning from a nice social media break.
I’ve been on social media for years, posting, scrolling, always “on.” But stepping away, even for a little while, reminded me of something important…
Not everything needs to be shared to be real.
Taking a break gave me space to think clearer, feel more present, and actually enjoy moments without reaching for my phone. No pressure to perform, no comparison, no noise, just enjoy life as it is.
It’s weird at first. You’ll probably reach for your phone out of habit more than you’d like to admit. But once that settles, you realise how much of your energy was being quietly drained.
A social media break isn’t about disappearing, it’s about reconnecting. With yourself, your time, and what actually matters.
And honestly? The world feels a bit slower in the best way.
