My sweet boy has left this mortal plane.
I’ve never known a sweeter, gentler soul.
He experienced a lot of changes in his life; lived with three different families in six different homes. He was prone to nervousness and delicate sensitivities and simply wanted things to remain unchanged. During the last chapter of his life, he experienced just that.
The cosmically magical litter of five perfect tuxedos transformed my existence; giving me first one beautiful son, Tayshaun, then 9 years later another, sweet DJ. It wasn’t easy for Tayshaun to share the throne with his brother, but over time they struck twinning poses, bookended one another in cozy slumbers, and accepted their fate. DJ was always protective, empathetic, and pure love. Jealously and competitiveness was not in his nature. His senior years were golden, he got all the attention that he always deserved. His gentle spirit and purring presence echoes out in an empty nest as he takes his next journey….one I hope, pray, but know will be even more charmed and filled with love and golden light.
