Joking aside, it’s always a great pleasure to know that we’ve played our part in making friends’ and partners’ dreams come true. And we are talking about:

Oggi fare un film equivale, essenzialmente, al governare uno stream di dati. Una questione puramente #digitale. Eppure, nel nostro Paese c’è un paradosso pericoloso: la #preservazione non è ancora considerata parte integrante del ciclo produttivo.
Spesso subentra solo “dopo”. Quando è il momento di recuperare un asset, di monetizzare un contenuto o di tornare sul set per un sequel. Ed è lì che ci si accorge che è già troppo tardi.
Manca un’educazione all’uso del digitale che renda gli asset accessibili e sempre disponibili. Senza questa visione, gli sforzi e gli investimenti fatti durante la #produzione vengono vanificati un istante dopo la fine del montaggio.
I #dati vengono dispersi. Il #patrimonio finisce dimenticato tra cantine umide e garage colmi di hard disk pronti a tradirci. Questa è la realtà attuale in Italia per il cinema e le serie tv native digitali.
Ci stiamo impegnando affinché le cose vadano diversamente. Crediamo che il digitale debba servire la cultura, non condannarla.

Vorremmo che questo non fosse solo il nostro impegno, ma un grido d’allarme condiviso da tutta l’industria.
