decided @jswayman1 giving me stick taps at the United Center deserved a permanent spot on the feed 🤩

First time back on my board after rotator cuff tear + GT fracture + six months of PT, and no further injuries to report! 😅
Paris was also the first trip to Europe @lukebrute and I have taken together. It was so fun to explore the city on my days off (and discover the best burger of our lives @lechardenoux_cyrillignac …so good we had it twice 😅). (The jambon beurre sandwich at @le_petit_vendome was also a multi-visit standout.)
Still processing the experience of covering the Olympics in Paris. The first day I walked into the skateboarding venue and could see the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Luxor Obelisk, and the Grand Palais simultaneously, I teared up—covering an Olympics in person has been one of my ultimate career goals, and what a special place to do it! Then there are the athletes, many of whom I’ve covered for the last six-plus years, gotten to know, and watched grow up. I am so honored to tell their stories as they also fulfill their greatest goals. I was feeling a little down when we returned home, but as @lukebrute reminded me—I still need to cover a Winter Olympics in person.
