Your strength, resilience, and love do not go unnoticed. We also hold space for those for whom today may be difficult, and we stand with survivors navigating motherhood with courage and care. 💐 Wishing you a day filled with appreciation, support, and peace. ____________________________ 🌸💜 Feliz Día de las Madres de parte de MNADV 💜🌸 Hoy honramos y celebramos a todas las madres y figuras maternas—quienes cuidan, protegen y fortalecen a sus familias y comunidades cada día. Today we honor and uplift Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people. Indigenous communities continue to face disproportionate rates of violence, and far too many cases remain invisible, underreported, or unresolved. This is not just a statistic, it is a call to action. We stand with Native families, advocates, and communities demanding justice, accountability, and systemic change. We must listen, learn, and amplify Indigenous voices while working together to end violence and ensure safety for all. ❤️ Wear red. ❤️ Say their names. ❤️ Honor their stories. ❤️ Take action. #MMIW #MMIWG2S #NoMoreStolenSisters #IndigenousLivesMatter #EndViolence WearRed JusticeForMMIW

May is National Pet Month. For many survivors of domestic violence, pets are family and a vital source of comfort and emotional support. Concerns for pet safety can also be a barrier when leaving abusive situations. Creating safe pathways for survivors often means ensuring their beloved animals can stay safe too. #NationalPetMonth #PetsAreFamily #SupportSurvivors #MNADV

👖 Denim Day | Stand with Survivors Today, the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) joins communities across the country in recognizing Denim Day, a powerful reminder that clothing is never consent. Denim Day began as a response to a harmful court ruling that blamed a survivor based on what she was wearing. We wear denim today to stand in solidarity with survivors and to challenge victim-blaming narratives that continue to cause harm. 💙 What you wear does not equal consent. 💙 Survivors deserve to be believed and supported. 💙 We all have a role in ending sexual and domestic violence. Tag us so we can share in our stories! #DenimDay #SAAM #SupportSurvivors #EndVictimBlaming #MNADV #BelieveSurvivors
