After a few months off, we're back. We're delighted to announce a gig at Elgin Community Centre on the 1st of August. We'd like to give a huge thanks to Donnie and the team for giving us the oppurtunity to play here.

-No Supports so you get a longer set from yours truly 😘!
-Under 16's *MUST* be accompanied by an adult!
-Doors are at 7pm so get down early 🤙!

And then the very next evening upon Mike’s return we have our next special guest joining us…it’s only the one and only Adam Wilson, local Forres singer/songwriter, frontman of Tony Hawk’s Pro Soundsystem, and all-round good bean coming to play for us and in honour of our esteemed guest, we get to channel our inner/outer elder emo selves and play you some of our fave bangers from the genre.

The last week has been weird and wild.
Back to the in person classes at uni to start.
Then back up to Inverness for lunch with @ascheps before heading into a (roughly) 6.5m gallon tank to get covered in oil and gunk, but more importantly set up an 11 microphone array to record IR sweeps and some music excerpts in this otherworldly place.
Back down to Perth to see Andrew deliver a guest lecture on immersive recording and Dolby Atmos, and to hear the recording of one of the excerpts. I hope one day to show this to as many people as I can because it seems to defy logic that a space so huge and disgusting can make a sound so incredible.
Back up the road for 2 5am start shifts at work, before venturing to Glasgow to see Florence and The Machine with my sister, my niece and my @emily_rainbow28 who has not only supported, but encouraged all these dumb ideas.
And now I am 35. And I feel about 700. But once the weight of the week has worn off I’m sure I’ll feel 15 again.
What a week.

Morning folks. We’ll be live from our living room for the final time this year, tonight from 7pm. We have the usual suspects: @blackchakraaudio ’s @mmmmikal , and Uncle @tobymichaels helping us carry out proceedings, and we’d also like to welcome any of our friends to come pop in by the house if you wanna have a singsong with us before the big day.

For us this marks 1 whole year since our first ever livestream from home. Sadly, as with our first one, our main man OJ won’t be with us, so we’re going to end the year as we started these things with just the 3 of us, but this is special to us as it was borne from a horrible situation and it has become something so positive for us all and given us the opportunity to play music we love with so many of our dearest friends.
See you this evening, and just send Mum or Dad a wee message to let us know if you’re stopping by for a dram and a song.

We had another very special day yesterday with our wonderfully talented friend, singer/songwriter @susannawolfe4 ♥️.
She joined us ‘At Home with The Hudsons’ and we played some songs together and got to hear her play a wee set of her original music too. We’ll post some clips from the livestream over the coming days.
Huge thanks to Susanna, and to our usual crew of Mike @mmmmikal@blackchakraaudio and Uncle Tobias @tobymichaels for a much needed uplifting day.
