The Secret Location 🪿 #ninedaysofed 6/9 The party we took a risk on just a few days before Christmas. But 48 hours before we sold out! It meant I mostly just could think just about the music... There was one point when we were at half capacity I was stressing we would over crowd the venue. But actually it was perfect. I have been asked multiple times if I have recorded this set or will I re-record it? This party was legendary. It really felt like the whole scene turned up for this one. Flow State. #NineDaysofEd 9/9 Promo runs are intense and thankless most of the time. We did another 4 week campaign and we pulled it off. Taking the @nansbasement community to an unknown venue (@deptfordjunctioncic ) that we said: 'trust us' and they did. Closing sets are where I normally enjoy the most. Get to pull out the tunes that you can only get away with in the early hours of the morning. The night ended at 4am and I had this moment when I just sat down on the stage and thought 'What have we just done?' Because it was one of those stand out parties. Really it was just a banger. And that's a wrap - hope you enjoyed the series 🫡

One of these is unarguably @mmm.usb : a true supporter of the grassroot, he is always there when you need him (and even when you don't). We first met him at The Axis on a night we were co-hosting with @thesensitiveboysclub and ever since our paths have crossed so many times to the point of overlap. At the helm on the @nansbasement series of events, he's been throwing legendary parties all over London where he's been championing underground club culture, always offering peak quality in sound, production and hospitality. As a DJ, Make Money Mafia is as versatile as they make them (with also an unrivalled love for "good" DnB) but, this time around, he's planning to bring bold sounds drenched in UK old-school club culture with a forward-thinking attitude.
