I got to see a screening of “Encuentro Americano” yesterday. What an incredibly well done short film. I worked on it last summer and loved that I got to explore a character so different from myself and a story that reflected our current reality.
I’m proud of everyone who worked on this project. Congratulations to E.T. Vazquez, @stripmalldreams , on an incredible film. Excited for all of you to see it!

Pursuing your passion can be difficult, but it is also unbelievable rewarding.
Two years ago, when I “finished” school (are artists ever really done studying? lol) I certainly would have thought traveling for work would be soo far ahead in the distance, not right around the corner. I am so incredibly grateful for the year I have had, despite being hard on myself most of the time. I can’t even tell you how many auditions I’ve done this year versus how many I booked. Luckily, the projects I booked were good ones.🥹 I was able to travel to multiple places for work, attend screenings for myself and friends, and film my first lead role in a feature film. 👀 Be on the lookout for updates on that… Now, to my fellow actors, artists, and old friends, believe it or not, it was a difficult year for me but I got through it and I’m so grateful for all the highs along the way. Try not to compare your year to others, because then we’re never going to be pleased and you have no idea what’s actually going on in ppl’s life.
