TYOY and the Alliance Française Bangkok present The Poetry of Boundless, a concert that transcends the boundaries of sound and art.
By incorporating a variety of instruments such as electric guitar, multi-percussion, piano, cello, and electronics, the musicians aim to blend acoustic and electronic sound in new interpretations and contexts, like a unique patchwork of both traditional elements and modern sonic textures. The performance invites the audience to experience a limitless sonic and visual landscape that rejects stylistic boundaries and seeks its own identity mixing noise, free improvisation, jazz , traditional, contemporary classical music and experimental electronica. Besides, it emphasizes the profound experience of live sound-visual interaction.

Artist profile:
Minami Takei, a rising young artist from Yamanashi, Japan, is a remarkable drummer who skillfully blends classical precision with contemporary exploration. She graduated with a scholarship from Showa Conservatory of Music (2020) and honed her skills under the tutelage of masters Toshiaki Ishiuchi and Atsushi Sugawara.
Her technical excellence was recognized globally at the 17th PAS Italian International Percussion Competition, where she secured second place in the timpani category. Professionally, she served as the principal timpanist for the Teatro Giglio Showa Orchestra (2020â2023), performing for premier opera and ballet productions, and expanded her international reach through the 2024 Asian Youth Orchestra tour.
