While we’re still in our “answered prayers” testimony moments, let me share another beautiful story—one that came from focusing on God and allowing Him to work in me before doing anything for my marriage.
One of my many desires I placed before the Lord was to have a beautiful space I could step into every morning… without leaving home. A home office.
And God used my husband to bring it to life 🥺 #MarryAManWithAToolbox 😅🤭
Some of you may have seen his work on our “Dream Home Makeover” playlist on my Mmatema MrsG YouTube channel ( /c/mmatemamrsg ) or some of the studios they’ve built.
Anyway, he’ll say it’s “not his best work” (meanwhile I’m obsessed 😭), I couldn’t keep this to myself, sorry love.
So while they’re still “perfecting it”… here’s where you’ll find me Monday to Friday, 4:30am — 6pm.
Let’s just say… if this is his “quick job,” I can only imagine what happens when he takes his time.

Truth is… we had to unlearn A LOT. Like a lot a lot.
And finally start living this principle we’ve been hearing for years:
marriage works when you work it.
Also… we had to mind our business a bit 😅
Because wow—God had to deal with me before He could do anything for me. Yoh.
I even share how I thought my “submission” depended on his leadership 😭
And how I assumed he was peaceful just because he was quiet and doing things for me… I know🙈😭😂
Anyway!!! We got humbled. Properly.
