since sharing my new chapter earlier this year, most people have asked me the usual questions, how it’s been, the job, the work, the people • it’s been hard to put into words •
• i knew i would feel the impact of this work every day, and that has been one of the greatest honours of this new journey • but i don’t think i truly understood it until this day • brand shoot for a refresh for the milestone year ahead for
@rethinkbreastcancer • we included some of our key collaborators, women in active treatment, those living beyond it, and those whose lives have been shaped by breast cancer • these women are at the heart of everything we do • grounding our education, support, and advocacy •
• spending even one day together felt like a turning point for me • their honesty, humour, and presence stayed with me in a way that’s hard to describe • it reminded me how deeply aligned i feel, not just with the work, but with the people at the centre of it • i’m so grateful for the opportunity to listen, to learn, and to be in community with these women, and with the team i get to work alongside every day •
