Some moments in worship cannot be explained; they can only be experienced. What filled the room was more than music. It was hunger, surrender, and a heart completely yielded before God. Every sound carried weight. Every lyric felt like incense rising to heaven. In that moment, it was no longer about a stage or an audience; it became pure communion. The atmosphere was heavy with glory, and for a moment, everything else faded away.

I had the privilege of preaching Jesus at the just concluded Dominate Conference in Abuja, hosted by @giftafricaofficial under the leadership of @i.am.sylvia_a . One of the striking highlights from my sermon was a consideration of the word “formless” in Genesis 1:2 as rendered in the original language, it speaks of chaos, wildness, and disorder. Truly, the man without God is unordered; wild, untamed. Such a life is governed by desires, instincts, trends, pressures, and fleeting pleasures. Tossed to and fro by whatever comes, this path ultimately leads to death. But the man who carries the life of God is ordered. He is led by the Holy Spirit. His life is not dictated by trends or societal pressure, but by divine direction. Scripture says, “the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.” The blessed man does not rely on calculated steps or lean on his own understanding - God directs his path. Indeed, we had a blessed time. Special gratitude to my pastor for being a great teacher to me.
