Will work from anywhere (a threat)
One of the reasons I knew I had to work for myself was the extreme flexibility of being able to travel anywhere in the world and get my work done in the down times (like a bus ride through rural India).
Where’s the craziest spot you’ve worked from? Or where would you go if you could?
Doodled though India ✍️ and now my sketchbook is one of my favorite souvenirs ever!
Even though I took a zillion photos and videos, something about drawing what you see when you travel helps you commit it to memory that much more. Arches, doorways, architecture, people, plants, patterns committed to paper! ☺️☺️☺️
The spot I can’t stop thinking about: Jaipur! 🌸🌸🌸 this city committed to the bit when they chose pink. But not just any pink. In 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh painted the entire city terracotta pink — a color symbolizing hospitality — to welcome Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
Today, the city has become a candy colored Wes Anderson esque dreamscape with patterns on every surface, pink facades and ornament on every corner. A visual feast that will be living rent free in my brain!
GONE GALAVANTING ✈️🪷🥭🇮🇳📿🦚 currently culling through thousands of photos and videos from the last 14 days in India… soon to be referred to as my first 14 days in India because I WILL be coming back
