May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but this work extends far beyond a single month ✊
📆 This Sunday, May 17, I’ll be hosting a team alongside of our fearless leader, Maggie(@mgm4997 ), CEO of @naminyc_metro at the largest mental health walk in the country in Manhattan’s Seaport District.
Her leadership is rooted in a rare, unwavering commitment to expanding access to mental health resources, breaking stigma, and strengthening the systems so many people rely on every day.
She is joined by an incredible group of advocates, including Natalia @beautyxnatalia_ and Joy McNeil @juxtajoy , whose continued leadership helps move this mission forward in meaningful ways.
Mental health care in this country is still largely dependent on donations rather than public infrastructure, leaving critical gaps that communities are often left to fill themselves.
This walk is about more than awareness it’s about visibility, dignity, and ensuring mental health is treated with the urgency and attention it deserves 💜
As someone who lives with neurodivergent experiences, I understand firsthand how essential access to care, community, and resources truly is. Without them, many people would not be able to function, heal, or simply get through the day.

Always expect the unexpected and believe that when you lean into hope, things will turn out in your favor, right? An hour and a half call about wedding logistics turned into something neither Matthew nor I expected. We found ourselves talking about life, discovering symmetries in our stories, and instantly building a bond that deepened into real friendship. Then came the realization that we were passionate about the same things, wanted to build something similar, and were meant to do it together. That friendship became a partnership, and that partnership became family. And then there was this day. What was supposed to be grey skies and rain turned into warmth and sunshine - a celebration overflowing with love and joy and everything my husband and I could have dreamed of, and then some. Here’s the thing I’m continuously reminded of: the world can feel dark. But when you lean into what is good, what fulfills you, what lights you up - that’s when the real magic happens. That’s when joy, happiness, success, and a feeling beyond satisfaction become not just possible, but inevitable. Thank you to the person who started as a business call, became my partner, and then family. Thank you to my husband for choosing this path with me. There’s something incredibly special about this work. A mother of three young kids taking a moment just for herself not out of selfishness, but out of self care. A chance to feel seen, confident, and empowered in a role that is as exhausting as it is rewarding.

Sharing these before and after photographs as they are a prime example of perfecting the complexion, a natural, radiant, natural evenness of skin tone. Makeup need not be heavy, cakey, or look of texture. Makeup is meant to simply enhance one’s beauty to brighten the face to provide a soft glow. When working on medium deep, deep skin tones, it’s very important to understand color theory, color, correction, and that pigmentation in the skin has undertones one must work with. My favorite hours of the day are the silent, fresh, and the darkness before dawn. I believe in waking up, immediately verbalizing gratitude to God in the universe for another day and Chance to better myself for others anything to myself. How incredible will they be? How I enhance the lives of those I meet today. And how can I personally use my passion, my purpose, and be a vessel of optimism, radiance, and give out to the universe, but I’ve been so blessed to receive as do not check email at all and so at least 7 AM I need two hours to meditate, write in my gratitude, journal, and set my intention for the day people always think Makeup and Makeup part is so glamorous and it’s only knew the hours and hours of preparation, soaking, hygiene, sanitizing, packing, and packing your makeup kit hours, and hours. But, the key to the success is I don’t ever do makeup to make myself feel better or with the intention to receive money or abundance, I love to Makeup because that gives me the direct ability to quit literally make a human that I care about the more confident, the best version of themselves, in the human connectivity that shared during a Makeup experience is true and parallel to make someone else feel special, but possibly could be better so with that, I hope you start your day with Joy and then pay your Joy forward.
